Loy Lake Location Offers Plenty of Space, Easy Access and Parking

Sherman, TX – December 19, 2013 …. The Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin and Cooke Counties announces it will be hosting the Spring 2014 Home & Garden Show, March 29th and 30th at Loy Lake Park in Denison.

"We're excited about the new permanent home for our Shows at the Arena at Loy Lake," says Texoma Builders Board President Javier Nieto of C&N Services. "The venue gives us a great exhibit area, easy access from 75 and with plenty of parking."

"The show is designed to appeal to a broad range of consumer interests that involve the home and related activities indoors and out," Lindsay Wright, Executive Officer of the organization points out. "This year's show will offer visitors a tremendous opportunity to compare the many home items available, plus new innovations for building, remodeling, decorating, landscaping, pools, spas and all aspects of outdoor living," she adds.

Booth Spaces are already starting to fill up. Please note the outer booths have hard floors, while the inner booths have a dirt floor, the price is the same for both. All booths are on a first come basis, so don't delay.

Texoma Builders - The Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties

Representing All Segments Of The Residential Building Industry

The Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties, originally called Sherman Home Builders Association, which was chartered in 1965 to represent the building industry in our area and is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) & the Texas Association of Builders (TAB).

The backing came from the local banks, and the first meeting was held at R.W. Klas' farm and it was a barbecue cookout. The meetings were moved to the Grayson Bank up in the Oaks Room. Mr. Roy Dutton was the First President, and he went to Washington D.C. on his own money to help get the Association going.  Later the association changed its name to the Grayson County Builders Association with a member roster of builder members and associate members.

Today, the Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties is an organization representing all segments of the residential building industry in the Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties. Its mission is to enhance its members’ ability to provide safe, affordable, quality housing to the citizens of the local communities.

The Association does this by:

  • Promoting positive public policy through active participation in the legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Providing industry information and education to the members and the public.
  • Enhancing the positive image of the industry and the members through training and encouraging ethical behavior and professional standards.
  • Making membership in the Association an essential element of a successful residential building industry company.

The Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties Builder Members are engaged in single and multifamily building, land development, remodeling and rehab and general light construction. Its Associate members are companies and individuals who provide materials, products, financing and many other services, including subcontracting, to builders and developers.

The Home Builders Association of Grayson, Fannin, Cooke Counties is a non-profit trade organization chartered by the State of Texas, and which has been granted tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(6) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
